At their May 2 meeting, the Aliso Viejo City Council did not move forward with the ban on circuses and rodeos.  Council removed the circus/rodeo language and decided to move ahead with a ban on the retail sale of pets. They directed staff to do more research on existing laws and protections for rodeo and circus animals.
