Unfortunately, the ordinance to ban the use of bullhooks and other management devices on elephants passed the Pittburgh City Council on December 19.  Pittsburgh Mayor Peduto has ten (10) days from passage of the ordinance to either sign or veto the bill, and the City Clerk lists that deadline as December 28.  Please take a moment to email Mayor William Peduto and respectfully urge him to veto this ordinance:
