On Monday, November 24, the Eureka Springs (Arkansas) City Council will be discussing an ordinance that would ban circuses from using live animal acts when visiting the city.  The City Council voted in favor of this ordinance at its first reading on October 27, but then voted against the ordinance at a second reading on November 10.  The circus ordinance is listed under "Unfinished Business" on the agenda for the City Council meeting this Monday. 

Please contact the City Council members and the City Attorney before Monday's meeting to express your opposition to any ordinance that would ban performing animals in the city.  Even if you have already sent emails to the Council members, please contact them again to politely ask them to vote against this ordinance once more.  Contact information is listed below.  Thank you!
