Summary
Clark County Commissioner Tick Segerblom will host a virtual town hall meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 12 via Webex to hear questions and concerns from residents about a proposal for a magic and illusion show with tigers on the southeast corner of Sahara Avenue and Paradise Road.
The proposal seeks permission to erect a 52-foot-tall tent that would cover 500 seats and a stage on 11.4 acres at Sahara and Paradise. Three tigers would be involved in the performances and be kept in a cage on the property.
The proposal is from illusionist Jay Owenhouse and is expected to go before the Clark County Commission on Wednesday, Jan. 19.
The Commission rejected any display with tigers. Mr. Owenhouse will still have the show sans tigers. |
